Hi, I'm Davina
I’m a UX design leader turning big, sometimes messy ideas into intuitive experiences that feel effortless. I’ve led teams at Google, where I focused on designing with empathy, building strong cross-functional relationships, and creating products people actually want to use.
Outside of work, I’m usually off exploring new places, taking photos, or hanging out with the rescue dogs I foster.
More details for work can be presented upon request.
Google Lens
Google Lens started as a mobile visual search tool, and I helped grow it into a multi-platform experience across Search, Chrome, Photos, and more. I led a design team, partnering across orgs to align on vision, drive strategy, and deliver experiences that brought multi-modal search to billions of users—in ways that felt intuitive, impactful, and deeply user-centered.

Google Photos
Google Photos is where millions go to store and revisit their most personal moments. I led a design team and drove strategy that balanced immediate impact with long-term vision. I oversaw launches like Photo Stacks, refined Lens integrations, and guided the Xiaomi cloud migration to Google One. I co-authored a five-year vision for the gallery experience, helping shape what’s next while solving real user pain points along the way.

Product Discovery
Defined an initiative for how users discover products across Google, focusing on connecting shoppers with trusted sources. The goal was to reduce decision fatigue and build more authentic, trust-driven shopping experiences that meet users where they are.

Richer Shopping Experiences
I led the reimagining of Google Shopping, shifting it from a query-based model to a more exploratory, inspiration-led experience. We introduced visual discovery, personalized recommendations, and curated content to help users browse more intuitively. This work laid the foundation for AI integration and a more immersive, user-centered shopping journey.
